Uber prepara su desembarco en Rosario y lanzó una convocatoria para reclutar choferes y dueños de autos en la zona. Pero desde el municipio, salieron a aclarar que este servicio no está habilitado y advirtieron que tampoco se permitirá su funcionamiento si no se ajustan a la normativa vigente.
Desde el Palacio de los Leones avisaron que “La Municipalidad aclara que de ningún modo permitirá el funcionamiento de empresas que violan la normativa vigente”, y señalaron además que hasta el momento no se realizó ninguna reunión con representantes de la firma.
Por otro lado, destacaron el continuo trato con taxistas y remiseros para mejorar la calidad del servicio tanto para usuarios como para los propios trabajadores. Ambos servicios son regulados por el municipio: los conductores deben contar con carné profesional, los vehículos debe estar en óptimas condiciones técnicas y de higiene, entre otros requisitos. La tarifa, incluso, se fija por el Concejo Municipal, a partir de los estudios de costos realizados por el Ente de la Movilidad.
