El concejo vota hoy «Alcohol 0» al volante
Este jueves los concejales rosarinos votarán en el recinto el proyecto de modificación de ordenanza para reglamentar el llamado Alcohol Cero al volante. Y todo indica que la normativa será aprobada, aunque aún persisten algunas posturas en contra.
Si hoy los ediles cambian el Código de Tránsito, Rosario se convertirá en la tercera ciudad santafesina (después de Santa Fe capital y Pueblo Esther) en sancionar a quien beba y maneja, por más mínima que haya sido la ingesta. Hasta ahora, el Alcohol Cero era solo exigible a los choferes de servicios públicos y al resto se les permitía un registro de hasta 0,5 gramos.
Hace años que el proyecto de Alcohol Cero se debate dentro y fuera del Palacio Vasallo, impulsados sobre todos por organizaciones de educación y conciencia social como la Asociación Civil Compromiso Vial.
No obstante, aún persisten algunos reparos sobre la iniciativa
Como charlamos hace unos días con el Concejal Charly Cardozo el nos decia «tiene que salir por ley provincial para el dosaje sea homogéneo en toda la provincia”
Por otro lado, la presidenta del Concejo, María Eugenia Schmuck, apostó al “cambio cultural”.
“Acá en Rosario, el 0,5 invita a la especulación. Uno toma poco alcohol pensando que no le va a dar preocupado por el control, tenemos que esta preocupados para que nuestro vehículo no se convierta en una arma de matar cuando tomamos alcohol y conducimos”, señaló.
Totalmente a favor de la medida, cualquier ingesta mínima de alcohol provoca efectos que reducen la concentración en la carretera. No tengo conocimiento de si esta propuesta se ha puesto ya en vigor, agradecería una respuesta, gracias!
