Dread Mar I presentó su nuevo EP «Yo»
Dread Mar I presenta “Yo” un EP compuesto, producido y grabado en su totalidad por Mariano durante el confinamiento. De manera casera y con su iPad como única herramienta de trabajo, Dread Mar I fue buscando intencionalmente un audio lo-fi para mostrarse de la manera más directa y genuina posible, sin intermediarios.
En colaboración y a distancia con el ilustrador Alan Berry Rhys fueron desarrollando el concepto visual del EP, con los videos animados de “Libre”, “Todo Lo Que Se Fue” y “Lo Más Sincero”.
La portada de “Yo” es una selfie tomada e intervenida por él mismo, en sintonía con el modo de producción del EP: un juego en el que explorar con lo que uno tiene a mano se vuelve un recurso artístico.
“Yo” es el trabajo más personal de este gran artista cuya carrera no ha parado de crecer desde su debut en 2005, hasta ser reconocido en la actualidad como el mayor referente del nuevo sonido del reggae en toda Latinoamérica.
