“El acceso a bienes informáticos y la alfabetización digital de la población deben ser tomados, y mucho más en estos tiempos, como políticas de Estado ,ya que es una condición imperante para el desarrollo pleno de las actividades educativas de los niños, niñas y adolescentes”, argumentó la concejala peronista, y concluyó: “La Unidad sería la encargada de llevar adelante el proceso de selección y separación de los desechos electrónicos recolectados por la Municipalidad (notebooks, netbooks y computadoras de escritorio) y su posterior reparación y acondicionamiento para darles una segunda vida útil. De esta manera intentamos minimizar la brecha digital, porque una vez puestas en condiciones serían destinadas a familias e instituciones que verdaderamente las necesitan. Y, a la vez, se estaría haciendo un gran aporte al cuidado ambiental, ya que se trata de materiales que tardan mucho tiempo en degradar”
