Hace algunas semanas los diputados nacionales de Juntos por el Cambio, Gabriel Chumpitaz y María Eugenia Vidal, presentaron en el Congreso Nacional un proyecto de ley para hacer efectiva la opción de una cuarta dosis para los argentinos que hayan recibido la vacuna Sputnik V y que precisen completar su esquema con vacunas aprobadas por la OMS antes de viajar.
Ayer esto se convirtió en realidad. La propia ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzoti, manifestó: “estamos aprobando una cuarta dosis habilitada por la OMS para que aquellas personas que van a viajar a países que no reconocen la vacuna rusa puedan hacerlo”.
Al respecto, el diputado de Juntos por el Cambio, Gabriel Chumpitaz, agradeció a su colega Maria Eugenia Vidal por apoyar el proyecto desde el primero momento y destacó: “ahora miles de argentinos recuperarán la libertad de transitar e ingresar tranquilos a Europa o a los Estados Unidos”.
“El problema surgió al aplicar una vacuna que nunca fue aprobada por la Agencia Europea de Medicamentos (EMA) ni la Organización Mundial de la Salud. Ahora con una cuarta dosis aprobada por la OMS se les devuelve la libertad de viajar, entrar, permanecer, transitar y salir del país a miles de argentinos”, agregó el referente de PRO Evolución en Rosario.
Desde el ministerio de Salud especificaron: “conociendo que es una demanda de la sociedad el acceso a un esquema completo contra Covid-19 con vacunas autorizadas por la Organización Mundial de la Salud a los fines de poder viajar a los países que así lo solicitan, se decidió este cambio”. Al tiempo en que dieron a conocer los requisitos para acceder:
“Toda aquella persona perteneciente a la población objetivo que por decisión personal solicite la aplicación de dosis de vacunas contra Covid-19 para cumplimentar las condiciones establecidas en el país de destino, deberá presentar la documentación que acredite el viaje, hacerlo con la antelación suficiente para cumplir con el intervalo mínimo de aplicación de dosis establecidos en los lineamientos técnicos y firmar un consentimiento informado donde estará explicitada esta condición”.
Sobre esto último y para finalizar, Chumpitaz, aclaró: “se está corrigiendo un error y por lo tanto, según la información con la que contamos, se tendrán en cuenta todos los motivos que justifiquen un viaje, tanto sea por motivos laborales, académicos, recreativos, religiosos y/o humanitarios”.
